"INNOPROM. Central Asia" as a Key Factor in Cooperation with Central Asia: Arkhangelsk Region Strengthens its Position in the Region

October 21, 2025
The Arkhangelsk Region is actively expanding its cooperation with Uzbekistan, a topic that figured prominently for the region’s delegation at the meetings of the Council of Regions of Russia and Uzbekistan. Signed agreements and outlined plans are opening new opportunities for developing mutually beneficial ties in industrial, economic, and humanitarian spheres, Governor Alexander Tsybulsky announced.

"We are committed to the consistent development of mutually beneficial cooperation with the Tashkent and Navoi regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan," emphasized Alexander Tsybulsky.

A significant milestone in the partnership’s development was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Arkhangelsk and Navoi regions at the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia." On the sidelines of the current Council of Regions, a roadmap for the practical implementation of this agreement has been approved, outlining priorities and mechanisms for interaction over the next two years.

"We are interested not only in maintaining positive dynamics but also in expanding the areas of interaction. Arkhangelsk industrial enterprises are ready to supply timber and woodworking products, chemical materials, and furniture to the Tashkent region, and to participate in the development of the region’s energy complex," the governor noted.

The development of cooperation with Uzbekistan and active participation in "INNOPROM. Central Asia" opens new prospects for enterprises in the Arkhangelsk Region and contributes to the expansion of trade and economic ties between Russia and the countries of the region.
